All speech-language therapists hold a masters degree, certificate of clinical competency awarded by the American Speech & Hearing Association, and New Jersey license.
Diagnostic Services
I. Speech/Language Consultations
A speech/language consultation does not include any formal assessments. This session is a review of records available and a diagnostic meeting for the purpose of making recommendations for future services. A written report is not provided but available for an additional fee.
II. Speech/Articulation Evaluations
Depending on the client needs, evaluations may include:
articulation
fluency
voice
swallowing/feeding disorders
tongue thrust
A full written report with recommendations for intervention is provided.
III. Language Evaluations
Assessment will include at least two standardized measures (evaluations for toddlers and preschoolers will include play-based assessment procedures). Full assessment may include:
expressive/receptive language
vocabulary
auditory processing
pragmatic language
narrative skills
literacy/phonological processing
written language skills
working memory
A full report with recommendations for intervention is provided.

I. Individual Speech/Language Therapy
Each session is designed to meet the individual needs of each client. Research-based, dynamic strategies and techniques incorporating high interest materials and activities facilitate progress and carry over. Pompton Speech Plus LLC offers 30-minute, 45-minute, and 60-minute sessions to satisfy the needs of all clients.
