I am the mother of a 9-year old high functioning autistic boy who struggles in the field of language, communication and as a result lacks social skills in communicating with his peers and family. We've been participating in the Socially Speaking program for about 6 months and are very satisfied with the results. My son comes home and tries to apply the new strategies that are taught into his everyday life. The staff is very honest, courteous and always explain the methodology applied followed by tips and suggestions to improve the specific skill targeted. I am impressed with the fact that the staff is doing their best to keep the group of kids cohesive, age and skill appropriate--not always an easy task. Also, their methodology of teaching always focuses and is based on the latest scientific research in the field. And best of all is my son always looks forward to going to the sessions!

Pompton Speech Plus was able to quickly identify the appropriate remedial reading program that would help my daughter finally learn to decode and read. Daria accomplished in 1 session with my daughter what the public school could not accomplish in 10 years! I can't thank you enough for all you do for Summer. Your social skills program is the best and most effective intervention Summer is receiving. Danyela has gone above and beyond the call of duty to provide effective strategies and activities that we can use with Summer at home (she has a wealth of resources that she willing to share). Danyela has pointed us in the right direction so that Summer could receive the proper services to address her special needs in school. We have seen growth in Summer's ability to express her feelings and needs, a greater awareness of the feelings and needs of others around her, and better problem-solving skills in social situations. In addition, the program is a lot of fun for the kids and Summer LOVES going each week.
